A noble thought came in the mind of some young men and Junagadh Junior Chamber Education Trust came in to being. Commerce college started functioning in 1969, the only Commerce College in those days offering co-education and imparting equal opportunities to the young men and women. Today the institution has enough infrastructure and resources, having financial stability. The credit goes to our honourable President Shri Nanjibhai Vekariya who has been guide, philosopher and mentor for us.
As a head of the institute, I must mention that we have been supplying the capable and dynamic junior executives and innovative entrepreneurs to business sector since 1969. With the complete cooperation of the managing body and the excellent contribution by our faculty members, we have occupied dominant place in Commerce education in the state. Further, I must stress that the institute has done excellent job not only in teaching but also in extra-curricular activities. Our students rank in examinations, dominate in sports and in cultural activities. We are ready to face global challenges in the field of quality education and are ever ready to grow, progress and develop.
