Master of Commerce (M.Com.)

Introduction

Master of Commerce (M.Com.) is a traditional PG program that offers a broad understanding of various aspects of commerce, business, and finance. It is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the dynamic world of commerce and trade. The program typically spans two years. The program enables the students in the wide range of subjects, including accounting. These are the essential subjects for success in the business world. Additionally, students often have the opportunity to specialize in specific areas of commerce based on their interests and career goals, such as financial accounting, management accounting, banking, insurance, or entrepreneurship. M.Com. trains the students with a holistic understanding of commerce and business practices, prepares them for the dynamics of the global economy, and empowers them to make meaningful contributions to the business world. Our college offers M.Com. Program in lieu with National Education Policy (NEP 2020) which emphasizes flexible curriculum, research and innovation, multidisciplinary education, vocational training, integration of technology, holistic assessment methods, and inclusiveness.

Eligibility
  • Students must have passed B.Com. & B.B.A. with a minimum of 40% marks from recognized University.
  • Proficiency in English language is expected for the students opting English as the medium instruction for M.Com.
    • Admission Process

    The admission process is online and centralized as per the regulations and guidelines laid down by the Commissionerate of Higher Education, Govt. of Gujarat, Gandhinagar.

    Students is required to visit https://gcas.gujgov.edu.in (GCAS Website Portal) for the Admission.
